| I was born in City of Baku, Azerbaijan (one of the republics of the former USSR). I graduated from the Architectural College in Azerbaijan at the top of my class. Then I worked for the City of Baku as an assistant of the executive architect. In 1990 I came to the USA. I started to paint back in school. I'm painting for over 30 years now. My father was a well known artist in Azerbaijan, so I guess the love of art is just runs in the blood. I love painting. My favorite media is oil on canvas. Whenever I can I paint oil paintings. Right now I live in Chicago, and I enjoy this city so much that I dedicated many painting series to it. One of my first ones here in USA is “Streets of Chicago”. There are only 3 paintings left in the series they were hanged in my house for a while. Feel free to look at them. No one had seen them for over 10 years. The style that I enjoy a lot is impressionism. If you have time let me know what you think.
