| Oil Paintings - Canvas Paintings - Landscapes - Parks and Lakes The first five impressionism original canvas oil paintings for sale in this collection were created in 2003 as a part of the series of ten original oil paintings on canvas. Five of them were landscape paintings featuring parks and lakes in and near City of Chicago - Windy City. The five original oil paintings are "Invitation", "Memory", "New Day", "Duck" and "Path". All five large canvas oil paintings were done using a watercolor (using oil) approach to better capture rainy or fogy day in parks and around lakes near downtown Chicago. These canvas paintings can not be classified as cityscape artwork but they do have some urban elements included. Other canvas art paintings featuring landscapes and still life. Again all the landscapes are from around City of Chicago. |
